Mike has broad and deep expertise in identifying and mitigating infringement of clients’ brands and content made possible through today’s complex Internet ecosystem.
Mike works with rightsowners to develop creative solutions to meet brand and content protection objectives, frequently mining or building and analyzing unconventional datasets to provide insights into the scope and sources of piracy. His work regularly requires him to engage with clients, government agencies, domestic and international investigative firms, web hosts, and online marketplaces to achieve desired results.
Prior to his role at BCGuardian, Mike developed brand and content protection initiatives at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP for some of the most respected names in content. During his time at O+Z, Mike earned his MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Dan Seymour

Dan leads BCGuardian’s intelligence and analytics efforts, seeking to understand and uncover connections hidden within large amounts of infringement and OSINT data. This often requires the development of highly customized tools designed specifically for the dataset at hand. Dan also specializes in the collection of high-volume datasets in support of ongoing enforcement activities.
Prior to BCGuardian, Dan led global Internet enforcement efforts for the Motion Picture Association of America, the Entertainment Software Association, and an industry leading commercial real estate information firm.

Kevin oversees operations related to the collection, evaluation, and preservation of evidence. Kevin regularly offers insightful analysis of collected intelligence, identifying infringements, the involved parties, and market-level trends related to IP infringement. Kevin’s work contributes to investigations related to the distribution of infringing goods and frequently requires him to work alongside third-parties, both domestically and internationally, to achieve desired results for BCGuardian’s clients.
Prior to his role at BCGuardian, Kevin worked in Business Operations at Towson University, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.
